The Just Kidding Collection is now published. Garments
for kids aged ½ to 10 years (one design is even available in doll/teddy
bear size) and a knitted toy turtle. The book introduces a new
yarn, Cool Wool, a machine

For several reasons, we have been unable to update our website for quite some
time, but now there's finally some news, and there's more to come. Most
important: The Viking Knits Collection is no longer
marked as out of print. Both this book and The Second
Viking Knits Collection have been reprinted, and they should be available
in yarn and book stores again.

We are continuously trying to improve our website, and lately we have turned our
attention to the photos of the yarn colors, trying to display them more
accurately (however, we still can't guarantee that they will display correctly
on all monitors). We now publish additional colors and/or enhanced photos for
many shades of Bambool, Bambouclé,
Cable Cotton, Calm Wool,
Cotton Frappé, Hempathy and
Silky Wool. |

We are happy and proud to announce that the Knitting Along
the Viking Trail exhibition has once again crossed the Atlantic ocean. It
will be shown at the Nordic Heritage Museum in
Seattle, WA, from February 6th to April 5th. More details on the
exhibition page. |

Major update with lots of new yarn colors, two new yarns, and two new books. This
season's additions to the Designer's Choice line are Bambool and
Calm Wool. The two new yarns are introduced in
The
Touch of Romance Collection, and more new designs in other yarns can be
found in The Out of the Blue Collection. In
addition, there are 8 new colors each for Silky Flammé and
Silky Wool, and 5 new colors for Baby
Llama.

We know, the new book has been in the stores for some time. But we've been
terribly busy this late winter and early spring, and simply haven't had the time
to publish photos from it until now, and we apologize for this. But here it is, The Dreamweaver Collection,
just as packed with exciting new designs as all the previous books in the
Designer's Choice series. |

Several updates to yarns pages. There is a brand new yarn for the season,
Bambouclé, introduced in 15 colors. There are also 8 new
colors in Cable Cotton, 8 in Cotton
Frappé, and 8 in Hempathy. Not only are there new
colors, we have decided to take new photographs and
double the size of the color samples for the
additions. This way, it will hopefully be easier to judge from the website
images if a color is for you. If the innovation is well received, we will keep
the new size for upcoming yarns and colors, and upsize a large number of old but
still available colors as well. From now on, we will also
indicate if a color has been discontinued in the USA (but stores may
still have it). |
