Corrections for The Come Closer Collection
The corrections below apply to the design Lalania.
Lalania, p.16:
Ouch, a major flaw concerning the buttonhole placement:
The instructions for the buttonhole placement should have been
placed at the point where the gussets are finished (when work measures
approximately 9 in / 23 cm) and they should read as follows (second column 3rd
paragraph):
Place a thread or locking ring marker at center back and
each front edge; all measurements are taken from this point. Also place markers
for the “side seams” 28 (32) 36 (40) sts in from each side (marker should be
centered on a purl rib).
At this point, knit the first buttonhole, beginning at the right
front edge: edge st, k1, ssk, yo, k2tog, complete row. On the next row, work k1,
p1 in yarnover.
Work 3 more buttonholes in the same manner every 12th row.
When piece measures 7¼ in / 18 cm from locking ring marker, divide
for armholes:...
This will make the finished length of the garment ½ in / 2 cm
longer than stated.
I'm sorry!
